First step: Dipping in the colloidal silica slurry.
Second step: Bonding fused silica sand to the wet slurry to build the shell.
Third Step: Drying the ceramic to gel and bond the colloidal silica into a hard layer.
Next: Burnout of the wax model within the ceramic.
