While high-precision zinc miniature die casting is similar to the hot-chamber die casting CWM employs for larger parts, it is capable of holding tighter tolerances, often with zero draft, to net-shapes as-cast. Walls as thin as 0.020 in. (0.50 mm) and tolerances as tight as +/-0.001 in. (0.03 mm) can be produced.
