Here I will show you how to mix the resin and make the first layer of your pendant
To make resin pendants you will need:
Resin (I use the 50:50 kind, you mix equal parts or resin and hardener)
Gloves to protect your skin
Silicone molds or other molds made for resin
Wooden stir sticks
3 see-through cups, with a somewhat flat and smooth interior for even mixing
Newspaper or something else to protect your work surface
Stickers or other items to embed in the resin
A short straw, I cut a regular straw in half
A toothpick or similar object to manipulate the sticker once inside the resin
Mix your resin. Pour slowly into mold, only fill enough to cover the bottom on the mold, you only want a thin layer. Fill all cavities like this then place your sticker facedown into the cavity. Use your toothpick or other object to push the sticker into place. Very important, you MUST keep an eye on these! Your sticker can shift and float out of place. I check every 30 minutes and move the sticker back into place until the resin is solid enough (usually after 2 hours). Make sure it’s not too hot and humid, if it is I run the air conditioner all day. After about 2 hours when it is still sticky you can add some glitter shapes if you want.
