    This video uses my new 5 inch propane fired furnace to melt and pour vertical pour two part graphite molds. The furnace was modified by using a ceramic coating over the Kaowool. It did a great job but I don’t know if the ceramic gave much better results when it costs about $100.00 a pint. It does make the Kaowool stronger. The large clay/graphite crucible was melting about 14 troy ounces of sterling silver which makes it easier to keep the temperature up during the pour.
    there is allot of frustration for some folks when the keep having the pour freeze in the sprue.
