  • Video was taken on 11/2/13. This is a great detailed how to video on ‘backyard’ casting. I want to thank Mr. Grant (the metal caster) for all his help and generosity with our project. We are students with the University of Maine working on restoring a rare c.1910 Lombard Steam Log Hauler at the Maine Forestry and Logging Museum. Without Mr. Grant the part cast in this video, a bell crank, wouldn’t have been as authentic.
